Friends of Coppermill Organisation
Being a parent or staff at the school means you're automatically part of the PTA (Parent/Teacher Association): it's run by you for your school! We aim to run fun activities for the children and fundraise for the school. The number of activities we can run depends on the number of volunteers we have, so please get involved, you will very welcome!
Friends of Coppermill Organisation aims to engage with a wide community of people including extended families and friends of Coppermill School pupils, our teaching and governing body, local businesses and community organisations in our local area.
We aim to enhance the education and experiences of all the pupils of Coppermill Primary School and create a vibrant school community by:
Arranging events and activities that raise funds for school equipment, projects and experiences.
Organising social events for the engagement and enjoyment of the pupils, their families and the wider community.
Providing volunteer support for school events to assist with the educating and nurturing of all school pupils.
We organise an event each term, including: Christmas Fair, Halloween Disco, Easter event and the Summer Fair!
We aim to hold a meeting every term, usually at 9:00am and all parents are welcome to come along, (see the school notice board outside the main entrance). Please also keep an eye on the school newsletter for updates.
Even if you can’t come to meetings or attend events, we are an open, friendly group of parents and we would love to encourage you to get involved in any way you can, such as helping to run a stall or just hearing your ideas and feedback. If you can’t make the meetings but want to get involved and stay up to date, email email@example.com and we can share a link to our WhatsApp group.
Your PTA is only as strong as the number of volunteers it has. In other words: your PTA needs you!
