POLICIES
As a school we are strongly committed to safeguarding and equal opportunities. But how do we demonstrate this? The first step is to ensure that the right policies and procedures are in place.
We follow best practice by drafting effective policies which:
include a clear commitment to meeting legal and regulatory requirements
provide practical guidance on how we promote equality of opportunity/ensure safeguarding
are clear and transparent
are easily accessible
are reviewed regularly.
Most importantly, we believe that our polices must give staff and pupils, as well as external stakeholders such as parents, confidence that our school understands its obligations and is ready and willing to not only meet them but also actively promote a culture of equality and inclusion.
We consider our policies to be ‘living’ documents, which are reviewed regularly, approved by or governing body and updated to incorporate new best practice, as well as to reflect changes in legislation.
If you require a hard copy of any of our policies, please contact the school office.
